Please, please. I saved your damn neighborhood, okay? Meredith McGrath was with Trump in Johnstown,

and she said the president is pinning his hopes on what she called a hectic comeback tour.

On Capitol Hill, members of the Senate Judiciary Committee grilled Amy Coney Barrett yesterday in her

hearing to become a justice of the Supreme Court.

Barrett also insisted it's not her mission to destroy the Affordable Care Act and forcefully pushed back if she would recuse herself from election issues before the court,

saying she hoped the committee would have more confidence in her integrity.

Here's how it played in the New York Times A1 column.

hearing. And we've got a new Politico morning consult poll. Amy Coney Barrett is getting more

popular. Forty-eight percent of registered voters believe she should be confirmed. Democrats who

think she should be confirmed have jumped 13 points.

64% of those polled say Anthony Fauci has been excellent or good in his handling of the coronavirus.

39% said the same of Trump.
