You know, I honestly haven't seen him this year. Before he got hurt, before the knee injury a couple years ago, he was one of the best linebackers in the NFL. I mean, when they had Patrick Willis and Bowman, that was the best lineback in the league. And then he came back from the knee injury, which he suffered against the Seahawks in that playoff game.

He came back really well, but then in 2016, he had an Achilles injury. So it seems like he's a little miffed about his playing time out there. So I haven't seen enough of him to say, but... Is he not starting? I don't know. I don't think he's getting the playing time he got before from what I've read out there. Uh-huh.

No, I don't know if it's that he's not starting, or maybe they look at him and say,

coming off the Achilles, you're not a three-down player anymore. But if you're looking at what the Patriots have, why not take a shot at this guy? $6 million a year. $6 million this year, which pro-rated, you know, they'd have to give them $3, 4 million, whatever the proration is there.

Would Bowman give us the value there for that contract? Well, it depends on what, I mean, what are the alternatives? The one thing in terms of the Patriots and the linebacking core that I feel like we don't talk about enough is that I think they feel like Chey McClellan can come back off IR and so if he can come back, I didn't think he was great last year. I would be interested to see how they use him. Do they use him as an edge player, which is how he started out last year, and then they ended up using

him as more of an off-the-line player the rest of the year. But that's somebody that could come back. And if they're high on him and they feel like he can come back, that would be something that would compel them not to make a move for Bowman. If you're a factory in, okay, we're going to get Shane McClellan back. And now High Tower is starting to get healthier. McClellan, Mass?
