Good morning, everyone, the simple handicap for Tuesday, October 12th.

Thank you for making me a part of your morning.

And thank you for having the patience to wait an extra day to kick off NFL week number

six, got home yesterday afternoon, tried to put something out.

And just didn't have the time.

I did send out

the recap thread on Twitter looking at all the games from week five. So if you do want to see that,

go back and look at it. This will not be the traditional Sunday evening episode, as it usually is,

now that it is Tuesday morning. A lot of the value from that show, ultimately gone.

But next Sunday after week six, that will be back in its usual format around Sunday

at 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time just before Sunday night football kicks off and that'll be

consistent the rest of the regular season.

Appreciate everyone sort of hanging with me there as I was away traveling.

Can't say enough about Kansas City, the city itself, the fans, and how much they love the

chiefs.

I'll always defer to saying the Jets are the greatest franchise in professional sports, but the

dedication that folks in Kansas City have for that football team was

really, really special to see, and the hospitality was fantastic.

I do have to apologize for the two guys in Joe's barbecue at the gas station who, on my way

out, reached out and said, Hey, I love the podcast.

It caught me so off guard that by very uncharacteristically holding a giant bag of barbecue,

put my head down, said thank you, and walked out the door.
