Like someone said to me last night, you know, they lost to a better team. Yes. Yes, no question about it. Astros are better than the Red Sox. Now, what we can talk about is the gap between the two, whether it's as big, whether it's in reality it's as big as it

looked in the series or whether it's smaller. And more importantly to me is now, where's this all going?

Okay. So I just, when you're talking about the Red Sox as they stand, to me, there are three areas

that they have to make changes in or give hard looks at. And I would make changes in all three.

I'm eager to see what they do.

And they are in no particular order, although I'll be happy to sort them if you want.

A power bat in the middle of the lineup, clubhouse leadership, and manager.

Those three areas, to me, are the absolute big ones.

As badly as they pitched, it's not even in my top

three okay the three areas again power bat for the middle of the lineup leadership in the

clubhouse which means a positional player a presumably a veteran positional player who will hold

other guys accountable and a new manager,

because I don't think he can bring the same guy back.

So I'll go in reverse order with regard to Farrell.

The choice is really simple.

Get rid of them or extend them.
