Just a few miles off the Thailand coast, the island of Kothau looks like a postcard.

I'd underneath the surface lies something sinister.

In the last 20 years dozens of tourists have died mysteriously on the island.

And we are back with Robert W. Sullivan, the fourth talking about symbolism, occult symbolism in the movies.

And we're going to focus on one type of cinema symbolism.

And that is occult casting.

So just to kind of give us an example.

I think there's a good one with before we get into the shining and so forth.

But there's another example with the actor that the Cyrala Guinness,

of course, was Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars.

I think we've talked about his casting and another movie that was supposed to evoke memories of Star Wars or something like that.

No, it's the one you're talking about is Max von Sido.

Okay, sorry.

Well, this is a good example. There's many, but we can start with this one.

This was when in Star Wars Episode 7, when the movie opens on the desert planet,

and this is where Kylo Ren is coming for the relic, that the Max von Sido character has.

He passes it on to the Poe character and then they confront Kylo Ren, and it gets ultimately killed.

And it begs the question, and this is, you know, it's like, why are you casting Max von Sido being this movie for?

Literally, what is probably less than five minutes of screen time when any numbers of actors could have played this part?
