Summary

Every other week we'll be picking the brain of a different creative about something they admire that has nothing to do with how they generate their income.

Delving deep into the minds of our favourite people's deepest obsessions, this week we're joined by the incredible Ryan O'Connell. The screenwriter, director, comedian, and creator of Netflix's Special is telling us all about his obsession with SWINGING (no, not that type of swinging). Recorded in the midst of lockdown, Ryan tells Ione all about how spending time on the swings help him escape to a meditative state, the history of his love for the activity, what makes the perfect swing, how lockdown has impacted his obsession, and much more.

The Polyester Podcast is brought to you by Polyester's founding editor in chief Ione Gamble (@ionegamble), and co-hosted and produced by Olivia Graham (@og.irl). Polyester is a self published culture zine exploring intersectional URL feminism in the IRL world. Have faith in your own bad taste!
