Summary
Delving deep into the minds of our favourite people's deepest obsessions, this week we're joined by the one and only Dorian Electra. The queer pop icon will be taking us through the a-z of the fedora hat. From it's first iteration as a queer symbol, to a mid 00's pop-star fave, to it's current connotations with the alt-right. We'll be chatting to Dorian about their work reappropriating symbols from the right through a radical queer lens, the importance of arming yourself with knowledge of those who sit on the opposite end of the political spectrum, and how socio-political symbols have changed in the age of social media.
Every other week we'll be picking the brain of a different creative about something they admire that has nothing to do with how they generate their income.
