0:22.3	So for this president's day, I thought to bring my friend Jeremy on to teach us all

0:39.1	I can't tell you how excited I have been to talk to you, you're one of my favorite people
0:43.3	to talk to because you have an encyclopedic brain and encyclopedic knowledge of obscure

0:56.0	So I thought I should not be selfish with these conversations, I should share you and

1:02.2	Tell me about John Quincy Adams, he's your favorite, right?
1:05.5	Oh yeah, I get excited about this guy because he, if you read what he wrote in his inauguration
1:11.7	speech, it was like a very progressive thing.
1:14.2	You know, he was talking about ending slavery in the territories.
1:18.1	This is 1824, please know that if you look at the first eight presidents or so and you
1:24.0	look at our founding fathers and John Quincy Adams, not a founding father, his father was
1:27.9	John Adams.
1:28.9	But of the eight, John Adams and John Quincy Adams were the only ones that did not own slaves.
1:34.5	Don't think about that.
1:35.5	They sure they were from the north, but they were big abolitionists.
