Thanks for being here. I appreciate you guys stopping by. This is going to be kind of brief for me because I'm taking off of the weekend with the family. We're going up to Michigan to spend some time along the lake and won't be doing a ton of things sort of live over the weekend. So recorded a mail bag for you guys. It'll come out tomorrow. Got together with Brad Ward for Sundays, things I think I know about the Cleveland Browns already. So those will be regularly scheduled programming. But again, don't have a ton of time as we get ready to leave. A bunch of different stuff going on, but wanted to still post some podcasts and have some content for you guys to take in. So before we start today's show what we have for you, it is important to note the Jim Donovan

stuff that you guys have probably seen. If you follow the Browns, you pay attention to social

media and all of that. Jim Donovan is resuming leukemia treatment. It has returned. He's

already defeated it. It has come back. And he said he's ready to fight. And listen, everyone is feeling really positive about this around him and I think he's

going to beat it again.

And he is an absolute legend in the Browns community.

He's an unparalleled voice of Browns football for so long.

And all we can do is send positive vibes.

And it doesn't seem like he will be up in the booth this year.

But there's some hope and optimism that he could return maybe earlier than anticipated.

But it'll be different without his voice in the box.

And obviously are sending as many well wishes and positive vibes up his way as possible.

I'm sure you guys are as well.

All the best to Jim Donovan. I wanted to make note of that as they did not do that yesterday. So otherwise, listen, everything's kind of quiet around the Browns, didn't have an OTA today that was open to the public, so we didn't get a ton of, you know, open angles on what happened and all of that stuff that we usually do that we like to see. but the only thing that kind of creeped out is there's some slowing down on the DeAndre Hopkins to Cleveland train. There's a little bit of pessimism from some people who are important. Justina Anderson doesn't think that it's going to end up being a fit. Seems like the financial side is a hurdle still out there that the Browns have to clear, and I don't know if they will be able to ultimately do that.

I don't know. Hopkins could drag into, you know, minicamp next week, could drag into training camp. Who knows, it could go out in a long time. He's not going to rush this thing. Maybe there's a desperate team at a later point, so I just want to update you on that. otherwise all very quiet. Check out the OBR website where I put up an actual analysis of film from Hopkins the last two years to see if I think he's a luxury that the Browns would like to have or if he's a necessity because they need that player. So that analysis is available for you on the website as we resume tight end week, ironically, at the website. So check that out as well. So today I'm going to shift over and replay the OBR Wiki with Barry McBride and Fred Greetham, largely because Fred was at OTAs live when they were open to the media.
