This is Holy Family School of Faith.

Well, welcome to our Rosary.

Today, I'm blessed to be at the Burglands. They've invited a bunch of their friends.

We've had drinks and some snacks and good conversation and now we are going to pray the

Rosary together. I haven't given everyone a title in the room.

And remember all the titles are self-appointed, so maybe we'll have to do this a few more times and get some self-appointed titles.

So let's begin the name of the Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Everyone has something in their life.

They cannot control or fix or change something that is a cause of suffering,

maybe a chronic illness,

a child that has fallen away from the faith,

a marriage gone bad,

there are many forms of loss that cause suffering.

And this makes us afraid, and then it can make us angry.

And anger usually follows fear because it's a response to evil.

Mine is this rib and breathing issue that's plagued me for four years.

Whatever it is for each one of us can leave us overwhelmed. It can leave us

overwhelmed because within this are three lies of the devil. First, it appears that it came through a series of unfortunate events, some

of which you may be responsible, most of which you have no part.

It's as though we've just been dealt a bad hand, bad luck.

There's no rhyme or reason for it.
