morning wire afternoon update. Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have endorsed Vice President

Kamala Harris for president.

The Obama's waited to voice their support until Harris had locked up the nomination.

Arson struck three high-speed rails into Paris today just hours before the Olympics

opening ceremony. Authorities say it was a coordinated and criminal attack.

Numerous trains were canceled on Friday morning and the railway company

SNCF urged travelers to delay their plans. The fires started in towns

nearly 100 miles outside of Paris and were set in the pipes that hold cables and are

used for signaling.

That's according to the SNCF chief executive.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

The fires have disrupted travel for nearly 1 million people hoping to enjoy the games and possibly even
