0:26.9	But don't let the size of the book fool you.

0:33.1	And to help us get acquainted with the prophet Obadiah, and then to give us some context for what
0:37.9	we're going to be studying, let's begin with an introduction by our teacher, Dr. J. Vernon McGee.
0:43.2	Now that we have concluded the little book of 2. Peter, where he opened up new prophecy for us

1:00.2	And we now are at the place in the scripture where God's program for the world begins to emerge here with the revelation of 2 Peter, which we just concluded.
1:07.5	Certain tales are clarified for us.
1:34.3	Others are still unclear. In sight into the book of Revelation, when we get there, we'll throw more light on the future. And we'll be getting there, by the way, this fall. Now, God has a scenario that he is following, and he's given to us some of the outlines and the overview of his program, and he's given us some of the details also.
1:41.3	And I want to try to be helpful as I state my understanding of what is called the
1:48.6	premillennial and the pre-trib position. This scenario is helped by most of the Bible teaches today.
1:57.9	Three of our outstanding seminaries hold it. The next event on the scenario of God
2:05.3	is the rapture of the church. It is undated and there are no signs given for it. Paul says
2:15.3	the dead in Christ and the living are all going to be caught up to meet the Lord
2:21.5	in the air. And that word caught up is Harpozzo. It means also to rapture. So rapture is in the Bible,
2:29.4	and we're to be caught up. Now, no signs are given for this event except the apostasy in the organized
2:37.9	church and the fact we have perilous times. But every century had perilous times. Every century
