How can you plan your descent when you are being sequenced to the airport under VFR?  Why do controllers keep you so far away from the field before placing you on final?  We answer all these questions and also discuss ELTs, flight service, and using VFR/IFR flight plans depending on the complexity of the airspace.  This is a really fun episode and you don't want to miss it!
