And I'm warming up from the NRIA.net studios in New York.

On this Tuesday over the weekend, I was up in Boston watching the socks play the Yankees

with the playoffs looming.

Now the rivalry between New York and Boston is a great American tradition.

And since I have ties to both cities, I'm kind of caught.

So I did not openly root.

I stayed silent during the game, posing for pictures with those in the crowd at Fenway Park,

perhaps the best baseball stadium in the world.

Now the game itself was tremendous, a close intense contest with Giancarlo Stanton hitting

a 452-foot home run, channeling Bay Bruth, who started with the Boston Red Sox back in

the early 20th century.

The whole experience was a thrill and a reminder that the United States of America is a unique

place with unique traditions and good will.

There were no problems at Fenway and there were a lot of Yankee fans there, but there weren't

brawls like we sometimes see between the Giants and Dodgers on the West Coast.

Anyway, good will was in the air at this intense rivalry.

And I want you in your life to grab some of that good will.

You'll be a happier person.
