On this Tuesday polling will begin in earnest this week for the midterms.

The problem is some companies are dishonest and skew the polling results.

They know what the companies that pay them want to see and it's not hard to get pre-ordained

data.

Members really know who exactly is being pulled.

This is called methodology.

I always have my producers call the polling agencies to get the data which they assemble.

The biggest con is simple.

Poll far more Democrats than Republicans and that often happens.

But there is another way to skew polling results.

Being self-proclaimed independent voters.

The polling operators do not put out exactly who these independent voters are.

Whether they lean left or whether they lean right.

Nobody is straight down the middle.

So it is easy to flood the independent zone by over-weighting them in Seattle for example.

Independence there are much different from independence in say Oklahoma.

That deceit is easy and it is done all the time.

Various parts of America are over-sampled.

So be skeptical about the polls back after this.
