On this Thursday, there are reports that Donald Trump is refusing to do a 60 minutes interview.

The scenario was that CBS News would give

Kamla Harris a half an hour and Mr. Trump a half an hour

run it on Monday

and Mr. Trump is blocking. Now that could change but the foreign president says

look last time I did an interview with 60 minutes Leslie Stahl said that the

Hunter Biden dossier, the laptop, was not real. And Miss Stahl did make it a point to go out of her way to say this hasn't been verified and on and on and on.

So Donald Trump says, look, I'm not going to do the interview with 60 minutes until they apologize for Miss Stahl's deception.

Now at the time I don't think Leslie Stahl knew one way or the other whether

Hunter Biden's laptop was legitimate, but it doesn't matter.

She did go out of her way to cast aspersions at Donald Trump's contention

that Hunter's laptop was damning and real in which it was.

So 60 Minutes does owe Trump an apology which they will never do, so unless Trump changes his mind there's not going to be any

60 minutes interview but the real reason the foreign president isn't doing it is

because the Trump team based on internal polling believes it will

win the election in November. So why take any chances? Back in a moment.
