On this Wednesday, I am thinking about wealth in America.

The United States is the wealthiest country in the history of the world.

Total worth in the USA topped $141 trillion in 2021.

And that's expected to pass $150 trillion by the end of the decade.

So how does all that money break down within our population?

Well it turns out if you were born in the United States, you have a very good chance at making

it rich.

Here's that data.

The median income currently stands at $67,000 in this country.

The nation is also home to the most millionaires on earth.

19 million people have more than 1 million bucks in the bank.

That's roughly 6% of our entire population.

The country also has 620 billionaires.

Meanwhile half of the population own stock or holds private investments.

Even the poorest of our citizens.

Their living standard here is better than anywhere else in the world.

97% of Americans living in poverty have a cell phone.

99% have refrigerators.
