On this Friday, I will not watch the Academy Awards on Sunday night.

First some stats.

The first awards ceremony of the Oscars took place on May 16th, 1929.

Viewership in 2001, 11 years ago, 43 million people watched the Oscar telecast.

Last year, 10 million.

That's down 75%.

Why Hollywood is collapsed under the weight of woke?

Now this year, the best picture nominees are Nightmare Alley, Don't Look Up, Dune, Drive

My Car, Belfast, Likarish Pizza, Power of the Dog, West Side Story, King Richard, and

Coda.

All of those movies earned less than a million dollars their first opening weekend.

I haven't seen any of them complete.

I tried to watch West Side Story and Nightmare Alley.

I couldn't get through them.

They were too dull for me.

Now it used to be the big, big stars like Bob Hope, Johnny Carson, hosted the Academy

Award Telecast.

Now nobody wants to do it.

They can't get big names to host the show because this thing is so inconsequential.
