But first, on this Thursday, two and a half months after your humble correspondent,

loudly blew the whistle on jet blue, the Secretary of Transportation, Peter Buttigieg, says

now he might discipline the airline industry.

Maybe could happen might not.

Pete is uncertain.

The American taxpayers funded $54 billion in COVID airline relief and all we got for our

money was disrespect, delays, cancellations, lame excuses, thousands of lies, millions

of suffering passengers.

Mr. Buttigieg sought to speak with airline moguls last week, but his flight from DC to New

York was canceled so he had a drive six hours.

He deserves him right.

Pete says he thinks the airlines will get it sacked together.

The reason for all this is a shortage of pilots and other skilled workers.

Many of them took buyouts during COVID.

They haven't been replaced, but the airline still say they're going to take off on time.

Pete Buttigieg is doing a miserable job.

So he fits right in with the rest of the Biden administration, but something has to be

done soon.

Buttigieg and others will be thrown out of office, but in the meantime, American flyers

need to be protected from the airline industry.
