But first on this Friday, I am ready for some football.

The National Football League is supposed to begin training soon in anticipation of the

season which begins in September.

But as with everything, COVID looms.

Hundreds of billions of dollars are at stake so we can expect the league to do everything

it can to get on the field.

As far as fans in the stands, Philadelphia already says no.

It will probably go city by city.

But there's another big problem besides the pandemic and that is social justice.

If NFL players insist on injecting politics into game day, pro football will get hurt.

Not enough to put it on the disable list, but many fans are not going to enjoy left-wing

displays.

Already, we've seen New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees castigated for saying he believes

players should stand for the National Anthem.

Brees actually had to apologize.

Why?

Because most of his teammates are black and sympathize with protesting during the anthem.

Brees' new is team morale would be damaged if he didn't back down.

There is now a tremendous peer pressure in NFL locker rooms to support the Black Lives Matter

movement.
