update morning edition. But first. On this Wednesday, it is party time at the White House

this week as the Christmas season has kicked in. I attended a bunch of those Suarez in

the past and they were highlights. The building itself, the White House, is magnificent,

of course. Each room has a historical theme. Portraits of past presidents adorn the walls

and you stroll around imagining what took place. Food, top notch, serve buffet, style,

the challenge for all the men. Do not get any sauce on your shirt. The White House

kitchen is opened around the clock. Marine guards in their regalia, all over the place.

Christmas decorations, meticulous. The presidents themselves appear to take pictures. Each

guest has about two minutes with them. I brought my urchins a few times. Amazing experience.

President Bush, Obama and Trump were all very gracious. I always got an equip you know

me, which they quickly returned. Michelle Obama was especially nice to my daughter. Despite

a divided America, we remain at heart a good country striving to get better. I hope it

is the Christmas season. We should be kinder to each other the next month or so. And those

White House parties are a good symbol of that. I will never forget my good fortune at attending
