Carl Sandberg, he was a poet.

He won a Pulitzer first,

poetry and also for his biography on Abraham Lincoln.

His 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy,

and when she was rushed to the hospital,

they discovered a lot of other major health problems

as well, and mom and dad were obviously distraught.

He wrote her this note.
