Mike Slater, filling up for Bill O'Reilly on this Thursday, thinking about, of course, the horrible shooting that took place in Minnesota.

There's a very important distinction between the Christian and the post-Christian or post-modern

worldview. The culture that the postmodernists have created today that most people believe,

most people believe this, many Christians even believe this, says that humans are born good.

And also, everything is naturally perfect.

Therefore, if something bad happens, there's some catastrophic breakdown in the system.

How could this have happened?

But the Christian worldview says that after the fall, this is a broken world.

After the fall, there is death, There's pain. There's tears.

There's shame. There's suffering. There's decay and sickness and violence. The very first brother, is one of them killed the other. There's sin and brokenness. That is the separation from God

is the natural state of things. Therefore, if anything ever good happens, praise God, I can't believe

a good thing happened. Do you see the difference? I mean, that theological difference is huge.

Christians think that the world is broken and people are sinners and therefore we're grateful

when a good thing ever happens. Progressives think that people are born good

and the world's perfect. It's a utopia. And if anything bad ever happens, well, there's some major

malfunction, which can usually be fixed with some sort of bill from Congress. Congress is their

higher power than we must appeal to. This worldview difference is fundamental and we will send you down two completely different trajectories in life.

Let's face it, the US economy is under stress.

National debt rising, trade war, shaking the markets.

And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold.
