So I have a lot to tell you about in this Corona virus special.

So New York State, the epicenter of the pandemic in the United States, New York City of

course drives that.

And that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

We are the biggest city in the country by far in the New York area, 16 million people

in the five boroughs of New York, 8.5 million.

Many of them foreign born, which means that visitors from all over the world pour into

New York every day.

And that drives the virus or did.

And now we have a shutdown.

So let me give you some stats to start off this Corona virus special.

And once again, I am very pleased to be here on Talk Radio 77, W A B C. I grew up at

this station on Long Island in Levitown.

Some of you know that.

And here we are.

So New York's infection attack rate they call it is five times higher than the national

average.
