I feel like we've had this conversation before about the classic first couple weeks on campus and you got the poster guy. The Scarface poster. That's really the one. You need a Scarface. You need the John Belushi College. Yes. You need some sort of black light pink Floyd type thing. I don't even know if the kids still care about that kind of stuff. They probably have like Rick and Morty posters now. Since the 90s are back, I'll bet that they do. Okay. Right? Like I'll bet that that came back like unironically, just like a lot of 90s things did. Fair enough. Posters. Posters are coming back. Well, it's funny. Kelly was sent a photo from a friend that was from Apex High School, like freshman year. And if you did not know the context of the photo, you would think it was a modern photo. No, you would think it was a photo from today. Oh, from today.

Because of what the kids are wearing now. Yeah. Oh, well, that's totally true. It's like peaked stuff. Yeah. I mean, and not even all the good stuff. Like a lot of the bad stuff made it back. Well, what's the bad stuff that made it back? I haven't seen the Jinkgo jeans yet. I haven't seen the super wide-like jeans yet. That's, I've seen

those for sure. Okay. Yeah.

Like that's, that's back. Because like Caleb where, the high-wasted stuff is bad. I'm like, what is this? Why are we doing this again? Caleb's essentially dressing like I would dress on a normal day. His jeans are a little looser because now they sell quote unquote 90s loose jeans. that's what, oh my God. Then they literally call it that. 90s loose. And I, I shriveled up into a corn cob because I felt terrible. Like, wow. You mean my youth is now retro. Interesting. It's funny to me because like when we were, I feel like when we were college age and like high school age, I was obsessed with the 80s, but I didn't want to dress like it. Yeah. You know. I'll see. I'm a little bit older than you. I know. That's true. Just by four years. But still, just a little bit older. You guys weren't like into the 70s. That was. Yeah. Were you really? Oh, I didn't. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Showing my age. Yeah, that's the thing. Look, I'll close this part of the conversation

where the real line of demarcation was the college radio station for UNC, XYC, used to, I think they still do it. But they had what they called an 80s throwback dance at the cat's cradle about once or twice a year. Oh, no. Yeah, that happened when I was school too. Okay. So was it still 80s when you were at USC? Yes. Okay. Well, when they finally shifted it to the 90s and I believe it's now like early 2000s. No. Why is that? That's not a nostalgic time. Actually, Lauren, it was 20 years ago. think about that. I mean, I know, but that doesn't mean it's a time anyone looks back on with like great fondness. Is it? It depends on the music. I mean, you're talking peak boy bands, Britney Spears, that kind of stuff. The fashion was worse than the 90s then. Was it? Yes. Go like seriously.

No, but my point is like, if you're, if you're 20 years old in college right now.

You know, that's the stuff that's nostalgic is in the same way that in 1999.
