So for the next hour, we're going to go over everything in Viking land here that we heard from Kevin O'Connell and of course have a lot of discussion

about the quarterback situation. And then Brian Murphy and Manny Hill will join for a roundtable at

730 and we'll get their breakdown of this game and expectations going forward for the Minnesota

Vikings after a 48 to 10 win over the Cincinnati

Bengals. And I got to say in all of my years covering the Minnesota Vikings, I have never,

ever done a postgame podcast after a win that was so definitive from the Vikings.

And then had everybody in the comments rip me apart and call me a fool.

So this was a first.

This is a first of me reacting to the comments after last games,

postgame podcast with myself and Dane Missatani,

in which we talked about how good Carson

Wence played. And so I want to go through all of that, what it means the way that Carson

Wentz played, what Kevin O'Connell had to say about it, what he had to say about J.J. McCarthy

and also the Tracy Wolfson reporting as well. But I do want to start out by talking about a little bit about the biggest news of the day today.

Because I don't think any of us thought that J.J. McCarthy was going to start against the Steelers in Dublin.

So he's not.

It's going to be Carson Wentz.

And clearly they are taking it slow from a physical perspective with McCarthy.

But the biggest news that Kevin O'Connell dropped on us today was that Donovan Jackson

has a wrist injury.

And we knew that last week because he was limited in practice.
