going to get in terms of dealing with reporters and speaking out

contemporaneously and being in his subject expertise territory, you know, it just maybe wonder why have we seen

that more often?

Well, and dare I say, there were moments, Lawrence, where it looked like he might actually have been

enjoying himself a little bit. Yes, right, I think they were and we're gonna

to be a lot of speculation in the news media about something the news media never really

knows anything about, and that is what's

going to happen tomorrow. The other thing the news media never knows anything about

is I'm at and I mean never is what is the president really thinking?

You can waste a lot of time spinning your wheels about that.

But tonight the president gave a very, very important press conference, important for

the substantive nature of the press conference about foreign policy.

You've never seen a more masterful televised presidential press conference about foreign policy.

Never.

But so much of the discussion since the president's press conference has not been about what the president actually said.

It's all been about these atmospherics and what other people might,

how other people might react to it, how people in Congress might react to it, that sort of thing.

We're going to let you consider what the president actually did do tonight,

and what he said that is relevant to the presidential campaign
