Many of not most of our listeners do not know the story of the killing of Kawasaki Treywick,

So would you start by taking us back to the incident in 2019, who was Kawasaki Treywick

and why did police come to his home?

Kawasaki Treywick was a 32-year-old personal trainer and dancer.

He was living in a supportive housing unit in the Bronx.

This was back in April 2019 and that's a building that provides services for people who have

challenges with things like mental health and addiction, substance addiction.

And that night he got locked out of his apartment door and he went into the hallway and started

banging on some doors and apparently shouting through the door.

And it was reported to 911 as harassment.

And Kawasaki himself also called 911 because he had been locked out of his apartment and
