The whole league is gearing up for the draft for what is looking like everyone believes will be a seminal

offseason and facing such an offseason, maybe, or maybe it might not be that big of a deal.

Are the New York Knicks?

The Knicks, of course, eliminated by the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

And they, of course, had a lot of fireworks in the last

calendar year, most notably the Randall and DeVincenzo for Towns Trade. And that, of course, sets

an important part of the equation for the next. They added Carlin Thadowns, who's making

$53.1 million for next year. Also notable, Jalen Brunson's extension kicks in for 25, 26,

but Jailen Brunson didn't get that big phrase. That's a big part of the story when he signed his

extension. So he will actually be, as things are constructed right now, the third highest paid Nick,

even on his new deal, $34.9 million.

Yeah, New York will have nine players under contract next year.

No free agents of really much consequence.

They have precious of Chua, who they could possibly resign on a sign and trade.

They have full bird rights on him.
