And we have got with us the great Robbie Thompson.

That's right, the great Robbie Thompson.

How are you doing, man?

I'm a little tired, my voice is starting to crack again. I think I'm going through puberty one more time.

But it's day 62 of New York Comic-Con and I'm happy to be here.

He understands what it feels like.

Now you've been doing overtime work for Marvel lately because you did all the primary pages for

legacy which are great. They're awesome. I want to get inside your head a little bit about that.

How did you get approached to do it? What was your strategy?

Tell us all about working on these very cool additions to Marvel Legacy.

Nick Lowe, sweet dulcetoned Nick Lowe, sweet dulcetoneed Nick Lowe, who I got to see, sing Pit Bull last night, which if you've never heard,

it's... Yeah, I mean... I've never, I've never seen a man quite perform like that. But no he gave me a call and was like hey I have this this weird project that I think you might be right for and you'd be getting to work with Darren and Kathleen again who I worked with and love.

And yeah, he was basically like talk to Darren about what we're looking for but he told me about what

Marvel legacy was going to be and

it's weird like once you start working in comics it's like oh yeah I can't wait for

this two years from now it's it's a really weird experience so it's great to

finally be talking about it but then I got on the phone with Darren

and he basically broke down what we were doing,

which are these three-page sort of origin stories,

but also in some cases, because some of the books are so epic

and they span decades.
