Because the tone in the country is changing and I think a lot of people are fed up with it.

And look, I want you to remember three things. Three things. Okay. 94% of mass shootings occur in gun-free zones. All of New York

City is effectively a gun-free zone, and there are over half a million to three million

defensive uses of firearms every year. And in this case, as in all cases with mass shootings, they stop

by somebody with a gun. It's usually a good guy with a gun, 90-something percent of the time. In this

case, the guy took out the trash himself. 94 percent. shootings, gun-free zones. Three million
