Rina Sherble, filling in for Kim Khan, who you hopefully have already heard from in this morning's

Wall Street breakfast.

Our top story so far, the streets of New York will soon be echoing with the sounds of slots,

craps, and roulette.

The New York State Gaming Commission has approved casino licenses for resorts World New York City,

ticker G.E.B.H.F. Bally's Bronx Project, and the Metropolitan Park Casino,

led by Mets owner Steve Cohn and Hard Rock International. The commission now has until

December 31st to ratify opening the first full commercial casinos within New York City.

Metropolitan Park is planning an 8 billion entertainment and casino resort

next to City Field in Queens. The project includes a hard rock resort, concert venue,

and a slate of attractions aimed at revitalizing the area. Bally's plans a 4 billion

casino and hotel complex at Ferry Point in the Bronx. It's projected to attract

more than 9 million

visitors annually and generate close to 400 million a year in tax revenue. Resorts World New York City

said its 7.5 billion proposal would create the largest integrated resort in the U.S. Building

on its aqueduct slots venue, the expansion includes a 500,000 square foot

gaming floor with 6,000 slots and 800 live table games. Gaming could begin as early as mid-20206

at Resorts World, while the Bally's Bronx and Metropolitan Park projects aren't expected to open

until around 2030. Meanwhile, Missouri has officially

launched legal sports betting statewide. Analysts expect a highly competitive online market

for the 19th largest state, with the first year handle projected at 3.5 billion to 4 billion.
