Tonight was the end of an era for NXT. Final takeover before what effectively is going

to be a reboot of the NXT brand. This was confirmed earlier today by Nick Khan in an

interview with Ariel Helwani. I tweeted earlier, I said, you know, rampage was the CM Punk

show on Friday night. It was all about CM Punk. The rest of the show didn't even really

matter. The tag match was good, but otherwise the show was very forgettable. It was just, it

was all about that one thing. Summer Salam last night was a mixed bag of a show. There

was some good. There was some bad. There was some ugly. And I said, tonight is going to

be the best wrestling show of the week. And it delivered. NXT takeover lived up to its

expectation. It is very rare that you get a bad takeover show. Summer better than others,

but takeover is usually reliably a very good show or an excellent show. You know, obviously,
