And a long time Nintendo fan. Although the only Nintendo ish game I've ever played with him is not an Nintendo game. It's the what was that terrible Sonic game we were playing the Sonic adventure.

Sonic. Yeah. Why are we playing Sonic adventure? It was not known. So how did you do this celebration? Yeah. Terrible you don't like it at all. Well it's not to get mentioned the original Dreamcast. It's funny because I kind of think of it as a knockoff of Mario 64. It's not very good. And that is the very topic of conversation we're going to be hitting on. Excellent. Segway. Anyway, excellent. Here on NBC today we're going to talk about games on other systems that totally knocked off Nintendo. Yeah. That's somewhere good. Some ridiculous. Some were a great.

Goofy out. Yeah. I agree. But they're all you know, oh Nintendo a dead of gratitude and creativity. So we're going to get to that. But first we have a couple of breaking NX stories. And some other topics to talk about including I haven't planned Pokemon go plus. So I'll talk about that a little bit.

Two buzzes a lot. It's very small. See how small it is. Does not have like a wristband. It does. Okay. But I have to hide it in my hand while I walk it. So I don't see it. It's not a touch of my mind.

It reminds me of it. You got it. Where does it look? I tried to own it. You know what? I actually tried that. I'll get to that. I'll get to that. Okay. It kind of looks like we're jumping again. No fire for Marvel comics. Like I don't know what that is. But it also kind of looks like the coolest dragon quest slime ever.

Oh my god. We're going to talk about Dr. Cusette. Slime. All right. So just just in this week. We talked it. Well, first of all, I should tell you guys last week we talked about all the NX rumors. Yeah.

Nintendo NX is of course the sequel to the Wii U and possibly the sequel to 3DS coming out in 2017. We went over all the rumors that we've heard. And we said whether they were, you know, sounded fake or real or we might have inserted information that they are real.

And today we can confirm them all. Yes. That was a great episode. People really liked it. Go check it out if you haven't heard yet. So this week we're going to add to that was a few more quotes and some neat stuff that are not rumors, but some actual news about the Anna.

Can we mention just one little correction from our talk? We had talked about the D pad and the rumors that the D pad would be split. And some of you guys have written in rightfully said, well, maybe that's because the D pad on the on the one half of the removable controller will act like a button configuration of like four buttons.

So it's kind of like on the on the Wii were you use the Wii remote sideways, you know, you can use it this way with the buttons. I think that's really smart. That's the possibility. We also said that the that you know other controllers don't use the cross pad. They actually do right like there. Some of the more modern controllers do because the patent expired back in 2005.

Yeah, the patent expired Nintendo used to have the cross D pad patent, but that is no longer valid. Anyone can make it. Also, I said it was part of their advertising campaign, which I was conflating with the ABX Y button. So that's what's all I see. But it's got, but it's kind of sad. Like I love that D pad set up and I wish they would just keep on using that. But you know, if it's a split D pad, I think we'll live. I think it'd be weird to see my band in the cross pad. I really do that. It's such a good. So it works so well. So you tell Terran.

Nice. It's a single button on the logo. Plot. I'm not going to happen. But please proceed with the end. So first of all, speaking of Pokemon, Pokemon coming to annex. We got a hard confirmation of

well, Pokemon company saying that the annex is trying to change the concept of what it means to be a own console or handled handheld device. We will make games for the annex. Yeah, but that's that's the Pokemon company support, right? They didn't come out and say like that they didn't come out and say like, hey, there's going to be Pokemon on an X.

Because Pokemon company has all those other games that they're known for.

I see. Well, pretty hilarious.

Huh? The pocket card. Jackie.

I thought the jack is really great. Yeah. No, I said Pokemon. No, no, that's game free. That's game free. Now we can talk about drill does are all day. Yeah, nobody's real.

But those are good. Yeah. For so what's notable about that? Right. So again, got to take it with a grain of salt because a lot of developers and publish will publish us.

They'll go on the record and say something based on the information they know and you never know if they if they've read or heard the same rumors everybody else is hearing and then you know kind of just riff on it.

But this guy works for the Pokemon company, you know, partially owned by by Nintendo and you know it's that's a pretty good indicator. I'd say that there's some sort of accidental confirmation of the hybrid setup, which we I think all 100% believe is what the concept for the annex is.
