This week we have a case that is so egregious, so upsetting that we are going to dedicate the whole program to covering it.

How is it possible that a young woman seeking help and protection from the court is dismissed. The young woman told

police that her boyfriend nearly killed her. Her father, a respected doctor, took

pictures of his daughter's bloody head and swollen face to show it to the

judge at a bail hearing. He said clearly to the judge, if you release the accused by lowering his bail he will kill my daughter.

And tragically police say the father was right. Can you imagine that father's loss and pain and what about the judge? What was she thinking?
