So that's not metaphorical language.

Do you think he's literally just commenting on what's in front of it?

That's right.

He's looking at tents and he's going to start comparing those tents to the garden that God

planted that had rivers in it.

And in this garden that the Lord planted, there were these special trees, the tree of the

knowledge of good and evil, and the tree of life that were in the midst of the garden. So here in

verse six, Balaam says,
