Tie Jerome, a pair of deep threes, 15 to 9 start for Memphis. They just had energy. They were playing really hard to begin this game. They really played hard throughout it. Christian Brown had 14 quick points in the first quarter, and it was 31-30 Grizzlies after one. Second one, very clunky. Nuggets can never just get the clunkiness off of them in this game. And Yokic was throwing the ball to a lot of different Grizzlies players. He had 10 turnovers in this game, and he had a lot of turnovers in that second quarter six point possession

for the nuggets though gets them back into things then cam johnson and spencer jones both pick up their

third foul yokech arguing with the officials the entire quarter not once but twice did he make

faces i'd never seen him make towards officials 60 to 60 going into the half third quarter you think okay, okay, close game. This is where Nuggets pull away? Absolutely not. Grizzlies build a 10 point lead almost immediately. Cam Johnson's the one that kept him in the game. Back to back threes and then a couple tough drives. He was the only one that seemed to be playing with any spirit in that third quarter, which was annoying. But as he cut the lead deck down to four, the nuggets fell back down by 10 points. Just careless. Yoke, not aggressive. Nobody's, this is like you're watching the clock tick thinking, okay, when are they going to get going? A couple good minutes will put this game away. It wasn't the case, 99.91 going into the fourth quarter. Adamant goes to Spencer Jones at the five to start. Didn't really work. Yokich back in at the

eight minute mark down 10 points. And then the Nuggets just couldn't get any

traction. They had to use their second to last time out with like seven minutes to go.

This is how flustered Denver was in this game.

Memphis not trying to lose this fully. They use a challenge late in the game on a Yokic turnover that was called a foul. They win that challenge. Yokic looks at the ref like, yeah, finally you call something for me. They called it was not a foul. It gets challenged and overturned. Down nine with four minutes to left and you're just thinking, is somebody going to make a shots or make something happen?

Instead, it just was more turnovers and more dispirited defensive effort.

The Nuggets get kind of blown out.

I mean, it was a seven point game, but to be honest, there aren't that many notes in the clutch time because it wasn't really that close in the clutch.
