What's going on on Nuggets Nation?

0:36.1

It is you are locked on Nuggets Postcast. I am your host, Anilo Piro. This is my second postcast of the season. So just a quick update here. Matt Moore, Swipe, Ryan Blackburn, have not gone anywhere. This is just some additional content here on the Lockdown Nuggets YouTube channel, as well as the Locked on Nuggets audio feed. I was doing the show's last season the Locked on Denver YouTube channel and the Powers That B have now decided to move that show over to the standard Locked on Nuggets feed. So I know we got a couple of comments there after the next game about, where's Matt, where's Ryan, where's Swipa, they have not gone anywhere. This is just some additional content for you guys, instant reaction here right after the game. So hope everyone in Nuggets Nation is doing well out there, hanging in out there, man. It hurts right now. I mean, there's no other way to put it. And love you guys in the comment section. We'll go back and forth. We'll have a good time. If you could do me a favor, hit that like button, smash that subscribe button really helps us out here on the channel. And the Denver

Nuggets fall for the third time this season to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Your final score,

1:36.0

129 to 126. And it just kind of feels like the same old song and dance when it comes to this

1:41.8

Denver Nuggets team. And I understand that it was the Oklahoma City Thunder. And I understand that Denver mounted a pretty sensational comeback there.

1:50.0

They looked like they were dead to rights in the final handful of minutes in the game.

1:53.4

Nicole Yokic ends up throwing up the three-point shot. Fowled Murray makes the free throw.

1:57.7

And Denver's got an opportunity to try to hold this game and maybe force overtime. And SGA nails them with the dagger there with the game knotted up at 126 apiece. And look, there's so many different ways that we can go about this game. But I want to go a little big picture before we dive into the SGA dagger itself and Spencer Jones, ISO ball, all that kind. Like, you knew it was coming. I mean, you just, you knew SGA was going to take the shot. And even the broadcasters were talking about how do you just send, you know, all forces at SGA and force him to kick it out and force somebody else to beat you. We'll get into that, of course, throughout the course of the program. But the big theme of the day is the vibes have just been continually off with this Nuggets team.

2:36.0

I don't really know any other way to say it. And I understand people want to point to the

2:40.2

injuries. And I agree. I think injuries have absolutely derailed this team this season. No if,

2:43.9

and it's or excuse me, Aaron Gordon was electric to start this game for Denver. You know,

2:50.5

you need Peyton Watson back. I mean, I know Cam Johnson, you know, the phantom injury that we saw, you know, a couple of times throughout the course of the season. And, you know, most recently here, but I mean, he hits one corner three and it's like misses the layup and another three and blah. Like there's so many problems. There's so many flaws with this Nuggets team. And the reality of the

3:08.8

situation is when you take on an Oklahoma City Thunder team, you can't make mistakes.

3:14.1

You just cannot have self-inflicted wounds. And look, Denver turned the ball over only eight

3:19.6

times tonight. I believe they averaged 13 a game on the season. So it's not like Denver was just throwing the ball over left and right.

3:25.5

There was a bad Yokich on the Julio Jones comparison.

3:28.6

There was a bad Yokic turnover there late in the game, which just resulted in some extra

3:33.4

possessions here for Oklahoma City.
