Get their first win of the season against the Oklahoma City Thunder, albeit kind of an asterisk,

obviously next to that one,

is no starters essentially playing for both of these teams here tonight, but a win is a win. The win streak

is extended to 11 games, and the Denver Nuggets are on track, potentially, to get the number

three seed here in the NBA's Western Conference. We'll see what happens with Houston. We'll see what happens with the Lakers. And of course, by the time, I believe, we get to the end of that show on Sunday in the final regular season matchup against the San Antonio Spurs. We will know just exactly what seed and what matchup the Denver Nuggets will have in the first round of the NBA playoffs. So I'm your host, I'm Ylo Piro. You guys can follow me on social media at media by AP. And we'll talk about this game kind of in a nutshell, right? But we'll also kind of talk some big picture with respect to Thunder, Spurs, who would you rather play? Denver on track now for the three seed, as they have been for the last, well, basically the entirety of the week, if memory serves me correctly.

So pretty simple kind of formula here for the Denver Nuggets to go out there and get that three seat if they want it.

And we'll see what happens with San Antonio.

And of course, this is kind of like the weird point in the season where winning and losing games can kind of, like a loss isn't necessarily the worst things for some teams if that makes sense because you're kind of playing the seating game. But we'll get into that here tonight. So let's talk about the game as a whole here real quick. And then we'll talk about just matchups and all that kind of stuff. As I mentioned, no starters for the Nuggets here tonight.

You're starting five included Jonas Valenciunus, Tim Hardaway Jr., Tyos Jones, Bruce Brown, and Julian Strather, heavy dose of David Roddy off the bench, as well as Jalen Pickett and Curtis Jones, Zieg Najee, with 14 minutes of action, and KJ Simpson got in the end, got in the game there at the end. so no cam johnson no christian, no Nicola Yogish, no Aaron Gordon, and no Jamal Murray,

which frankly should not come as a surprise in particular after we saw.

Here's a funny comment.

Wow, we were better than OKC, right?

It's interesting because obviously you're happy to be in Oklahoma City just like to be able to say that.

But we all know that this is far from you know what what what each team is going to be in the playoffs obviously and

you heard it there on the broadcast like Oklahoma City has has nothing left to prove at least in the

regular season right they've locked up the one seat so they were essentially playing for nothing

tonight so they go ahead and give SGA the night off, amongst one of the other guys.

Lou Dort still finding a way to get in the Nuggets Chili there a little bit and causing some controversy with that hit on David Roddy on the rebound attempt off the Tim Hardaway June the free throw.
