Oh, it just felt like one that got away from the Denver Nuggets here tonight.

And, you know, one of my kind of big picture thoughts from this game.

And we'll talk about some of the micro stuff, you know, in particular going cold in the fourth quarter and blown a 19 point lead there in the first half as well. But it really just felt like a game that got away, especially with how this game started out tonight. And it feels like if the Nuggets were able to go out there and take care of business, I'm not going to say they could have completely buried the Minnesota Timberwolves,

but you would have loved the Nuggets chances to go into Minnesota and at least take one of those games and come back to Denver of 3-1, right?

And the fact of the matter is, if you're a Minnesota Timberwolves fan and just put yourself in their shoes for just one second,

I understand their game one loss was brutal and it was great for Denver, obviously.

But the Minnesota Timberols's did exactly what they needed to do in these first two games, which was still one of the first two games in Denver. And so now I think the pressure

really shifts on to the Nuggets to go into Minnesota and try to pick up a couple of wins and

come back to Denver 3-1 with an opportunity to close it out in game five. Again, my pre-series prediction was Nuggets and six. I thought game one might be where they'd stumble, not game two, but I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles. But look, the fact of the matter is Denver was simply not good enough tonight, not even close to good enough in this game. and they were in the first quarter. And it's kind of like opposites, right?

Because you saw them in not good enough tonight, not even close to good enough in this game.

Because you saw Minnesota come out to a really hot start in game one in the first quarter and then kind of trickle off as the game went along. It was the opposite here tonight as Denver puts up 39 points in the opening quarter. And it's like, okay, like this team is locked in. This team is ready to go. this team, you know, need to kind of get some cobwebs off of playing in the playoffs again.

They outscore, like I said, 39 to 25. And Denver gets up big, and they essentially squandered that lead in the second quarter where Minnesota outscores in 39 to 25. And then the second half was really relatively competitive. Denver outscores Minnesota there 29, 26 in the third. But the fourth quarter ultimately does the nuggets in as they go a long

stretch without being able to make a bucket. And Minnesota wins that period 29 to 21. And that's
