And I talk a little, and talk a little more about the first two games. We don't always get to every topic that I wish we could get to on the pod. In fact, we rarely do. And so today we're going to talk a

little bit more about that, some adjustments we might be able to see. But Darius, just before the pod right now, we were talking about sort of that idea of having belief. And there was a D'Angelo Russell yesterday made some comments like, hey, don't give up on us. We're going to win this series. I'm paraphrasing, right?

But just words of confidence.

And I think that it's a great blessing that the Lakers have two days off. Don't give up on us. We're going to win this series. I'm paraphrasing, right? But just words of confidence.

And I think that it's a great blessing that the Lakers have two days off after that emotional blow in game two, have that first date, I think, to kind of recover. I think that's what yesterday was. And now you kind of got your bearings back. You build back toward that. So talk to me a little bit about that and you as well, Mike, about kind of getting back onto that track. Well, I just think that in the aftermath of losses in general,

there's always a certain amount of second guessing. And I think after a particularly emotional loss

like game two was, with that comes doubt. And I thought, Pete, you phrased it very well in the aftermath of game two with the pod

that we did.

That game feels heavier based off of the history that it's not just one game.

There's history there.

And so there is a weightiness around the team right now.

But Delo's not wrong.

And there is a very favorable view of the Lakers right now that if they look in the mirror,

they can look at themselves as a team that has been in position to beat the nuggets.

Like, over the eight quarters of this series, the Lakers could probably say we've been as good
