Hey folks, I'm Sam Evans Brown. This is outside in. So a few weeks ago I presented our

producers with a challenge. So my challenge for you,

each of them,

each of them was tasked with presenting you, our listeners,

a particularly interesting nudge,

something seemingly small or innovative,

an invention that perhaps has had a profound impact on the world.

And for those of you out there who know the behavioral economics origin of the term nudge,

I would like to know that we are fully aware that none of these are actual nudges and I'm fine

with that word it's fine it's fine of the many people who know what that means it's

a thing it's a whole thing.

Uh so they presented, you voted, and I am now joined by the contestants to hear the results from our episode, A Battle of Tiny Proportions. First off we have producer Taylor Quimby, whose nudge was the ball-bearing.

These things are so important to our mechanical lives

that I had to sign an NDA just to visit this ball bearing factory.

A nondisclosure agreement.

Secondly, producer Sarah Ernst, whose nudge was the latex condom.

But they'd just be like, oh, I'm making sausagesages at home and they would go home and make their

own condoms out of sausage casings. Oh my gosh. Hey Sarah.

Hey Sam. Third our executive producer Erica Janick whose nudge was the ill-fated voyage of one Joseph Dombay.

That's correct.
