Hello, so it's going to be a big week talking about the economy and we've got the first piece of the jigsaw today with the government announcing what support they're going to provide for commercial energy users.

We know about the price guarantee for domestic customers, but the government had kind of left it blank about what they were going to do to help businesses, schools, museums, charities, anyone else who's got a commercial energy bill that comes their way.

And today they announced that effectively they're going to fix the wholesale price of gas and electricity over the winter for business consumers, which will effectively mean that those bills are half what they were going to be.

But I have to acknowledge, I don't run a business, I've never run a business, I have no idea how much it costs to heat and fuel a company.

So we found somebody who really knows it's Alistair Horobin who runs seniors fish and chip shops in Blackpool, which is actually nine fish and chip shops. Hello, Alistair.

Just give me a sense of just what it's been like the last few months thinking and contemplating what your energy bills are going to be.

So I can only pose it in terms of what we've had the challenge wise over the last two years with COVID and I'd say it's an anxiety slash unknown kind of planning for the worst accepting that and then rewriting it again.

So today is given us some clarity, but we just need to now hope that it's passed on with suppliers and we can start getting some prices and work out the future from there.

No, I'm glad you said work, the words workout because I was going to try and work out what your your energy bills were going to be in the near future if the government hadn't intervened.

So just to give us all an idea of what sort of pressures you're dealing with because I don't run a business.

I have a domestic energy bill. I know that pretty well, but I can't kind of work work out what you guys are going to work out.

So I suppose I've got to know sort of how many shops are we talking about in this little experiment we're going to do.

We're going to talk in this experiment of just four fish and chip shops with a good usage, then busy.

And when are they so lunchtime and tea time? So they're open 11 30 till 2 and 4 30 till 8 7 days a week.

And I suppose you're paying for heating lighting. This game is only about gas.

That's what's like fueling the friars. Yeah, so gas to fry the fish and chips.

Okay, and you're open seven days a week? Seven days a week for six hours a day.

Okay, yeah, you can do the math. Oh, it's getting hard already.
