States of America. And if I were to tell you that some of the biggest proponents of nuclear

energy came from Northern California, would you believe me? You're talking to a woman who spent

four years at the University of California at Berkeley. I know the area well.

My parents are both from Northern California.

People picture it as the tree-hugging capital of the world.

And while that may be part of the case, there's a really interesting group there.

And it was started by Michael Schellenberger, whose name you may remember because he recently ran for

governor of California. And sadly, to me, did not get past the primaries. I think he would have

been outstanding. But he has started a group called Environmental Progress. And I wanted to
