Barkdale Air Force Base is just one of those bases that not a lot of people get excited about. Unless of course you fly a bunch of drones over it and then definitely raises a few eyebrows and peaks the blood pressure on a few people. I'll be honest, I'm one of those people. I don't get excited about Barkdale. I've been there numerous times and I'll be honest. I'm okay if I don't go back. A lot of great people, just not my cup of tea. Now we're going to talk about what transpired in Barksdale in March of 2026.

in Barksdale in March of 2026. What Barksdale is and the greater implications of why this is important

why we should care about it because it's rather significant. First, Barksdale Air Force Base, it is home to

the B-52. This thing has been around for a while and it's going to be around for a lot longer. By the time the B-52 retires, it's going to be almost 100 years old. Like, just think about that for a second. But this is a nuclear-capable bomber. We're obviously seeing it utilized in Operation Epic Fury and we've seen it utilized in other conventional modes all the way back to Vietnam, etc.

Now, Barksdale is home to Global Strike Command as well.

This is the infrastructure.

This is the staff.

This is the general.

This is where Global Strike Command lives.

They own two parts of our nuclear triad.

They own our bomber fleet as well as our ICBM fleet.

Also, at Barksdale, you have

the U.S. Nuclear Command and Control communication systems. What exists there, that's the stuff that

links the president to the nukes, the nuclear warning system, the ability to launch, and everything

in between. Obviously, very highly classified, and it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out

that it's pretty important and pretty

sensitive. So again, a lot transpires at Barksdale. It is a critical node and it is very strategic.

And you would think it's relatively safe just being nestled in beautiful Shreveport, Louisiana.

However, I think that is changing. We've talked about this in the newsletter. We've talked about

this on the YouTube channel.

And I've kind of utilized the term and someone can polish it for me.
