What up, I'm Torrey and it's Torrey Show and today we've got Natari Guma Ambajo Wiene, one of those actors with a great quiet power who you really can't forget.

He plays Ronnie, one of the key characters on the shy.

He also had important roles on Tremay, the Nick, the Newsroom,

and many more.

He's the son of immigrants from Uganda,

who earned an MFA in acting from NYU.

He's also a new father who's got a two-year-old and a second child coming any day now.

The man is a true artist who makes documentaries and takes photographs and writes and when I asked him to name

great actors who have inspired him, he talked about learning from observing human nature and particularly from watching his two-year-old

daughter. If you know anything about little kids you know they don't act they

don't have masks. They just have reality all the time and they just say and do what they really think all the time.

And if you could be an adult who acts on stage as purely as a child lives with no mask, then

you will be amazing.

Well, Natari is consistently amazing.

The shy just came back for season two, so we started there.

It's Natari Wene on Torrey Show. What was really been interesting for me in terms of just working on the shy because I'm not from Chicago.

I don't know the world of this story.

It was unfamiliar to me so I didn't feel like I had the right necessarily to tell the story.

So when I was offered handle on it

offered the role it was I was stunned

because I didn't think I could do it and I didn't really feel like I had a handle on it

and even when the show was about to premiere for season, I thought I was going to be like,
