I have to say the cynical radar is up, that this is a nice feel-good story, less about public health and more about people forgetting about the

horrendous number of deaths in the UK and talking about the football instead, you know, why not

argue about a red card or a referee or something

other than what's really happening in the world?

and then there's the slightly less cynical take kind of need

things can be true yeah I mean it would be good for public experience, you know, having football back.

how to stop crowds gathering, how to keep the something like 300 people

that need to be at each game just to make it function from players, support staff, coaches, media, press,

broadcasts and so on, as well as the health workers need to be there for various reasons and all the testing kits that would need to be
