asked a federal judge in New York to release the investigative materials from Glenn Maxwell's

sex trafficking case after Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Now, U.S. District

Court Judge Paul Engelmayer has granted that request and authorized the department to publicly

release the grand jury

materials as well as the investigative records while redacting personally identifiable or other

victim-related information. A similar request to make public investigative records from Epstein's

prosecution in New York is still pending before a different federal judge. Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking and other offenses.
