accusing Hamas of breaching the ceasefire. Hamas denied any involvement. Acknowledging the new violence, Vance accused some in the news media of having a, quote, desire to root for failure. There's this inclination to say, oh, this is the end of the ceasefire. This is the end of the peace plan. It's not the end. It is in fact exactly how this is going to have to happen when you have people who hate each other, who have been fighting against each other for a very long time. Vance also said that if Hamas does not cooperate in the ceasefire process, they will be, quote, obliterated. Vance was joined by Middle East Special Envoy Steve Whitkoff and Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, both of whom helped negotiate the ceasefire. Danielle Kurtzleben and PR News.
