With voting already underway in some states,

President Biden says he's confident in the

U.S election system and Pierce Tam or Keith has more. Earlier this week former

President Donald Trump was asked whether he trusts the election process this year.

I'll let you know in about 33 days.

Four years ago, after it became clear that he had lost,

Trump promoted lies about election fraud.

Asked whether he has confidence this will be a free and fair and peaceful election,

Biden said,

I'm confident to be free and fair.

I don't know whether it will be peaceful. The things that Trump has said and the things

that he said last time out when he didn't like the outcome of the election were very

dangerous.

To this day, Trump insists falsely that he won in 2020.
